BA Blacktop constructed the "counter–flow" lane in the George Massey Tunnel to facilitate rush hour traffic increases. This included lighting, electrical, road resurfacing and painting. BA was selected to continue maintenance inside the tunnel by milling and repaving worn surfaces.
