BA Blacktop maintains several state-of-the-art asphalt plants in the Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast, serving the local market with top quality asphalt products. 

100% of all raw materials imported to our plants is either used in the production of asphalt or recycled and made into other products.

Gencor Ultra Drum Plant capable of producing 300 tonnes per hour servicing Metro Vancouver and North Shore areas including Squamish. The North Vancouver Plant also incorporates Recycled Asphalt (RAP) into newly mixed asphalt to eliminate the need for asphalt millings to be disposed of in landfill sites.  This plant also has the ability to produce “Warm Mix Asphalt” which is mixed at lower than conventional temperatures.

Our combination plant is located in Abbotsford at 1479 Ross Road. The plant is a 10,000 lb Barber Greene Batch Plant, coupled with 400 TPH Astec Double Barrel Drum Mix Plant with Astec TC-II Batch Control and PM-II Blend Control.  The plant has 75,000 gallons of AC and 140,000 gallons of burner fuel storage capacity.  It is equipped with a reverse flow baghouse filter system as well as having silos with heated storage capacity of 600 plus tonnes.  The plant has two recycle bins and is capable of using up to 50% Recycled Asphalt Products (“RAP”) in its mix designs.   We are also able to produce warm mix via Astec’s double barrel green foaming manifold.

Our Gencor Portable Ultra Counterflow Asphalt Drum Plant utilizing GencorBC 250 blend control is located in Delta at 8081 River Road.  The plant is capable of producing 300 tonnes of asphalt per hour, and is equipped with a reverse flow baghouse, has silos with heated storage capacity of 600 plus tonnes, and storage for 60,000 gallons of AC.  The plant has two recycle bins and is able to use up to 20% of RAP in its mix designs.

 

We operate a barge facility capable of unloading a 5,000 tonnes per day, as well as loading and transporting marine destined aggregates and asphalt premix at our Delta facility on the Fraser River.
